“Rank and File” Marshals to Openly Refuse Biden Orders in Major Rebellion

I’m sure by now that you are more than aware of the crisis unfolding at our nation’s southern border with Mexico. Thanks to Democratic President Joe Biden’s faulty immigration policies and the recall of Trump ones, the border is being illegally crossed by literally thousands of migrants daily. And while hundreds of those are getting caught and detained by Customs and Border Protection agents, hundreds more are not.

And the ones that are, then create a whole new problem.

As you can imagine, these individuals need shelter, food, and basic care. That means more and more border agents and human services are needed to ensure that care is being given. Floors need cleaned, meals prepared, maintenance performed, transportation needed, etc. the list goes on and on.
But rather than creating policies that might cut down on the flow coming across the border and making these needs, Biden would rather send people from other vital agencies to do such work.

Enter the good men and women of the US Air Marshals service.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Thanks to a December 2021 initiative by the Biden administration, there are now more air marshals at the southern border than there are in the skies. In fact, according to a report by the Washington Examiner, less than one percent of all US flights have an air marshal on board these days.
As you can imagine, the Federal Air Marshals Service or FAMS is none too happy about that, especially since more recent orders from last week have announced that those redeployments would last indefinitely.

Therefore, many in the agency are planning a full-on rebellion.

President of the Air Marshals National Council David Londo told the Examiner, “The rank-and-file air marshals are going to refuse to deploy and risk termination. You’re almost going to have a mutiny of a federal agency, which is unheard of.”

Londo explained that while sending help to the southern border is good, taking trained law enforcement agents like air marshals and making them do it is less than ideal.

For starters, it leaves our skies, airplanes, and airports much more vulnerable. According to data from the Federal Aviation Administration, there have been 2,178 unruly passengers reported, 767 investigations launched, and 517 enforcement actions taken a year to date, as well as two attempted attacks. These are things that air marshals are tasked with handling.

Instead, most are currently driving illegals to doctor appointments, “heating up sandwiches,” and even cleaning toilets – tasks far below their pay grade or skillset.

And that leads us to another problem: morale.

According to Londo, morale among air marshals is currently as low as he’s ever seen. “Morale is so destroyed by this. I’ve never seen anything like this,” he said.

It would be different if these marshals volunteered to do such, as was the original plan. According to the 2021 Department of Homeland Security decision, FAMS was asked to acquire a number of marshals to volunteer for a 30-day stint at the border, something many would have gladly signed up to do.

However, by early December, volunteering was out of the question. Instead, air marshals were ordered to head to the border and start their babysitting duties. As the Examiner notes, those air marshals and many more since then can be found performing menial tasks at immigration centers in El Paso, McAllen, Laredo, Texas, and in Tucson and Yuma, Arizona, as well as in San Diego.

And the air marshals aren’t the only ones who have a problem with this “redeployment.”

According to the National Association of Police Organizations, it’s causing a severe risk to the American people and our nation’s security, especially as the holiday season is now upon us and we “enter the busiest travel season of the year.”

As NAPO indicated in a recent letter, the air marshals service, like many law enforcement agencies around the nation, has suffered much over the last few years thanks to movements like “defund the police.” Personnel numbers were already depleted, and now – thanks to Biden – the service has even fewer agents at their disposal.

Of course, Biden’s administration claims they are only doing what is necessary and that those complaining about it should “be investigated as an insider threat.” The word “insurrection” has even been thrown about.

Typical Democrats, huh? The moment someone calls them out, they claim treason.
