It all starts on January 3; the GOP will take back control of the House of Representatives and that means they will be at the helm of the House’s investigative committees and subcommittees.

Republican leaders have already indicated they plan to probe the Biden administration’s chaotic policy on the U.S.-Mexico border, the botched withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan, and the disastrous failure to stop the flow of fentanyl into the U.S. that may just be the first round.
But hands down, the issue that will receive the biggest spotlight will be the investigation into the business dealings of the Biden family.

“Committee Republicans have spoken with multiple whistleblowers from numerous schemes involving the Biden family, reviewed Hunter Biden’s laptop, and received documents of previously unknown transactions,” House Oversight Committee chairman-to-be Rep. James Comer told a news conference on Nov. 17.

“What we found are business plans aimed at targets around the world based on influence peddling, including with people closely tied to foreign governments like China and Russia.”

According to Comer, James, Joe, and Hunter Biden flourished financially becoming a millionaire by simply offering access to “The Family.”
Here is what you can expect from the press, detailed coverage of what the committee covers from a few who are balanced, and an attack on the investigation by most of the liberal media.

Comer’s immediate task is to make sure that the public understands that this is an investigation into the president and his actions, not just Hunter Biden.

While Joe was running for president, he said clearly that he had nothing to do with and never even had conversations about his family and their business.

Well, that was a lie. Whistleblowers describe President Biden as “chairman of the board” for these businesses. He participated in meetings and phone calls and documents show that he was in fact a “partner,” and was known as “the Big Guy.”

Rep. Comer is going to face a massive and organized backlash when the investigation begins. Powerful Democrats in Washington, along with their rich allies across the country are planning an assault against the investigators and witnesses in the Hunter Biden probe, according to the Washington Post.

The Post called it a “sprawling infrastructure” that is “rapidly, almost frantically assembling to combat Republicans’ plans to turn Hunter Biden into a major news story when the GOP takes over the House next year.”

One of these groups is being led by Kevin Morris, a high-powered entertainment attorney in Hollywood. He became friends with Hunter and is actually paying his back taxes and monthly bills. Morris has already allegedly paid $2 million in back taxes and pays around $20,000 a month for Hunter’s rent.

He is advising all involved to get “tough” with the GOP who want to focus on the Biden family business. According to The Post, Morris is trying to get Hunter to file defamation suits against Fox News, against President Trump’s son Eric, and against Rudy Giuliani. And he wants “extensive research” on “two potential witnesses against Hunter Biden — a spurned business partner named Tony Bobulinski and a computer repairman named John Paul Mac Isaac.”

Other Democrats strongly disagree with this aggressive approach against Republicans.

“No one thinks this strategy of putting Hunter Biden front and center is smart,” one Democrat involved in the larger defense effort told the Post. “No one, including the White House, thinks this is a smart strategy.”

Rep. Comer basically agrees, “We’re not trying to prove Hunter Biden is a bad actor,” Comer said. “He is. If anybody wants to disagree with that, then there’s nothing we have to talk about. Our investigation is about Joe Biden.”
