Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott is not impressed with President Joe Biden’s visit to El Paso. He said that the president has “no plans” to enforce immigration laws.

Abbott talked about the presidential visit while interviewing on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo.

“Biden is there today to look at a sanitized El Paso so that he can do all he can to help and aid the illegal immigrants as opposed to stopping them from coming into our country,” Abbott said.

It is being widely reported that Biden’s visit to El Paso will be in a sanitized version of El Paso and that his visit will only entice more illegal crossings. Church, according to the New York Post.

Authorities in El Paso removed migrant encampments just before Biden landed in the city. There was also a clean-up at the downtown bus station and a shelter near Sacred Heart Church, according to a report by the New York Post.

The Post also reported that six buses mostly Venezuelan migrants left the city and went back into Mexico’s Ciudad Juarez. Apparently, there were police escorting other migrants back to Mexico along a pedestrian crossing.

Former Republican Rep. Mayra Flores criticized the city’s attempt to clear migrant camps before the president arrived.

“Why not show him what our border community and law enforcement officials are dealing with on a daily basis?” she asked.

And the National Border Patrol Council spoke out against El Paso’s changes before Biden’s visit in a Twitter post on Friday.

“El Paso being cleaned up as if nothing unusual ever happened there. Just in time for Biden’s ‘visit to the border,” the group tweeted. “We suggest just landing in Des Moines, Iowa and telling him it’s El Paso. He’ll never know the difference.”

It’s just more fake news from the Biden Administration.

Sure, Biden went to the border. But with it being so heavily planned, it really changes nothing.
