How many strikes should CNN get? Just this week they have the scandal around Tapper’s producer and now Don Lemon makes an outright sexist remark about former Governor and candidate for the presidency, Nikki Haley (R-S.C.).

Fox News meteorologist Janice Dean did not let Lemon off the hook. After he referred to Haley, 51, as “past her prime.”

Dean let Lemon have it with both barrels.

It started when Nikki Haley suggested that politicians over a certain age should take mental competency tests. “America is not past our prime. It’s just that our politicians are past theirs,” Haley said.

Lemon got snarky over this and said that Haley should be careful with what she wished for. He argued that since she was no longer in her “20s, 30s, and 40s,” the former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations was also past her prime.

Here’s Lemon’s quote: “Nikki Haley isn’t in her prime. Sorry, when a woman is considered to be in her prime in her 20s, and 30s, and maybe 40s.”

Dean shot right back with a tweet: “I just ‘googled’ and found out that I’m a year older than @NikkiHaley. According to @donlemon all women aged 50 and up are ‘past our prime!’ I’d argue we’re just getting started!”

Even Lemon’s CNN co-host bristled at Lemon’s stupid remark. He tried to defend himself by saying, “Don’t shoot the messenger, I’m just saying what the facts are. Google it. Everybody at home, when is a woman in her prime? It says 20s, 30s and 40s.”

This is a grown-up man on a major news network who was challenged and his response was “just Google it.” It’s no wonder CNN is sinking faster than the Titanic.

Sen. Ted Cruz got in a comment too, “Leftist misogyny: Imagine, the year is 2015, and Don Lemon is saying the exact same thing about Hillary Clinton …”
