You may remember that Larry Elder was running for president earlier this year. He recently ended his campaign, but that’s not going to stop him from continuing to talk about how the entire country is falling.

He’s focusing his attention on California, where he launched a gubernatorial campaign to take down Newsom. While it didn’t end in his favor, he still has a lot to say. It’s why his recent book, “As Goes California: My Mission to Rescue the Golden State and Save the Nation” is an eye-opening look at how Elder had attempted to win the governor’s title. It also looks at how Democrats systematically fail the US, and in particular, Black Americans.

Elder’s platform focused on reducing crime, addressing homelessness, fixing education, and cutting taxes. He believes that many people in California are fed up with the state’s progressive policies and sought to bring change by implementing more conservative ideas.
In terms of reducing crime, Elder wanted to increase funding for law enforcement agencies, emphasizing a “zero tolerance” approach towards criminals. He also supports tougher penalties for gang-related crimes and opposes the early release of prisoners.
Regarding homelessness, he criticizes the state’s current approach as not effective and suggests that it is worsening the problem by attracting more people to California with its liberal policies. Elder favors a “tough love” approach, which would include drug testing and mandatory mental health treatment for those who refuse assistance.
Education has played a crucial role in Elder’s platform as well. He believes that the state’s public education system is failing children due to its focus on progressive ideologies, causing declining test scores and a lack of quality teachers. Larry Elder wants to implement school choice, allowing parents to select the best educational environment for their children, whether it be private schools, charter schools, or traditional public schools.
Lastly, taxes are another area that Elder wants addressed. He proposed reducing taxes across the board, particularly on small businesses and the middle class, in order to stimulate economic growth and create jobs.
