Trump Promises to Release January 6 Political Hostages on Day One

Joe Biden’s detainment and torture of mostly peaceful January 6 protesters will go down as one of the most shameful periods in American history. The unelected Biden regime has now charged more than 1,350 Trump voters from all 50 states with nonsense crimes related to that day’s brief interruption of a ceremonial meeting in the US Senate.

More than 70 January 6ers have been detained for more than three years now without a trial on charges as silly as misdemeanor trespassing. Donald Trump has now made his firmest statement yet in support of these tortured political hostages.

President Trump stated on Truth Social on Monday, the same day that he secured the Republican nomination for 2024:

“My first acts as your next President will be to Close the Border, DRILL, BABY, DRILL, and Free the January 6 Hostages being wrongfully imprisoned!”

The media has instigated such a blackout of the treatment of the January 6ers that most Americans don’t even realize what they are going through. It is only because of the reporting by outlets like the Gateway Pundit and the efforts of Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Matt Gaetz (R-FL) that we know about the horrific treatment of the political prisoners being held in Washington, DC.

Federal prosecutors obtained pre-trial detention against the 70+ prisoners being held in the Washington, DC jail. Pre-trial detention is normally reserved for arrestees who are accused of violent acts of terrorism. It suggests that they are so violent and dangerous that they represent a threat to the general public and, therefore, must remain imprisoned until their trials take place. Most, however, are charged with misdemeanor trespassing, parading or picketing through the Capitol, entering a restricted area, and interrupting a US Senate meeting.

Those being held in the DC jail are denied access to their attorneys, so there’s no way for them to prepare for their trials, which still haven’t happened after all these years. The torture of the prisoners is the stuff of nightmares that we used to think was reserved for Third World banana republic jails.

The detainees are routinely beaten by their guards and subjected to anti-white racial hatred. One prisoner was beaten so badly in 2021 that his eyeball popped out of the socket. Many are reported to have been sexually assaulted by Joe Biden’s gay prison guards. The water comes out of the drinking fountains in their cells as a cloudy black color. They have to strain the water through their socks just to make it drinkable.

The Biden regime is now treating the January 6 prisoners worse than the Bush administration ever treated Al Qaeda detainees at Guantanamo Bay. The Al Qaeda prisoners received legal services paid for by the taxpayers and better food, and they were never beaten or sodomized by the US soldiers guarding them.

These are patriotic Americans who attended a constitutionally protected protest three years ago to petition the government for a redress of their grievances. President Trump has now promised that all but a handful of the January 6ers will receive pardons on his first day in office. That day can’t come soon enough.

Joe Biden could end the torture of these prisoners and release them today if he wanted to. But we know from the reports of Biden kicking and punching the White House dogs that he likes to torture the weak and helpless. After Trump releases the political hostages, his next official act should be to bring the persecutors of these innocent Americans to justice.
