The political left would love for you to believe that a Trump rise to power will never happen again and that his world is crumbling around him. And so, it’s no surprise that when a Trump family Christmas photo was made public recently without the presence of Melania Trump, all sorts of nasty possibilities were suggested.
If you haven’t seen it, the photo was taken during a family Christmas party at the Trump Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida over the holidays. Most of the family was present, including Donald Trump and Melania’s youngest son, Barron (17), who now towers above the family at an estimated 6 feet 7 inches tall.
But like most large families, a few members were unable to make it. Trump’s son Eric and his wife Lara Trump also were not there and, so not pictured.
Naturally, there was little to say about their absence. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for Melania’s absence.
There was talk about a “struggling” marriage.
Rumors are that their marriage is struggling big time.

Others commented on how there was probably a “renegotiation of her prenup” going on before 2024.

But the truth is far, far less dramatic.
As it turns out, Melania’s mother, Amalija Knavs, has been quite sick for some time, being laid up in the hospital. As it was Christmas, Melania wanted to make sure she got to spend some time with her ailing mother.
And so, rather than being selfishly consumed in festivities at home with her husband and son, she sat by her mother’s side at the hospital.
