As the pro-Palestine protests make their way to traditionally more conservative colleges like the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill, people are coming out of the woodwork to do what’s right. UNC-Chapel Hill’s Pi Kappa Phi received a $10,000 GoFundMe following their actions to save the American flag from the protestors looking to tear it down again.

Protestors ripped down the flag at Polk Place on the Chapel Hill campus, and the following day interim chancellor Lee Roberts and a group of police escorts returned the flag. Doing so, he ripped down the Palestinian flag they had raised in its place. Naturally, once he walked away, they went to go back in. This is where the Pi Kappa Phi and other frat boys joined forces to protect the Stars and Bars. Facing rocks, drinks, and other items being thrown at them, they stood their ground and ensured the flag stayed off the ground and away from the protestors.

Their GoFundMe campaign explains, “Commie losers across the country have invaded college campuses to make dumb demands of weak University Administrators. But amidst the chaos, the screaming, the anti-semitism, the hatred of faith, and the flag, stood a platoon of American heroes. Armored in Vineyard Vines and Patagonia, fueled by Zyn and White Claws, these triumphant Brohemians protected Old Glory from the unwashed Marxist horde — laughing at their shrieks and wails and shielding the Stars & Stripes from Soviet missiles. These boys… no, men, of the UNC-Chapel Hill Pi Kappa Phi, gave the best to America and now they deserve the best. Help us raise funds to throw this frat the party they deserve, a party worth of the boat-shoed Broleteriat who did their country proud.”

They have raised funds, which started with $15 and quickly rose to just under $420,000. With people from all walks of life contributing, they have also attracted the attention of more than a few politicians. A former White House event planner is taking care of the all-out party these boys will be throwing. Kudos to them; they earned it.
