Biden Takes Steps Towards Boots on Ground in Ukraine

With little to no provocation or warning to the American people, President Biden signed authorization for the activation of 3,000 reserves and Inactive Ready Reserve (IRR) troops back to active duty. These troops are destined to augment the forces already in place supporting the war in Ukraine.

Additionally, Biden capped the number of IRR troops recalled at any given time at 450.

While the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of Homeland Security are the authorized officials to enact the order, there has been no indication one way or another about when or if they will activate any troops.

Lt. Gen. Douglas A. Sims II said in a statement, “These are not additional forces; these are forces that will augment what we already have there. So as an example, over time, where we may have had someone from an active-component organization doing something, that job now under these authorities may be something that a reserve component unit may be able to do.”

On July 12th National security adviser Jake Sullivan touted the commitment of the US to the war effort in Ukraine. In a move ripe with desperation, he claimed that nations and their citizens worldwide should be grateful for the assistance the US has provided. This self-righteous statement isn’t what America is about.

“The United States of America has stepped up to provide an enormous amount of capacity to help ensure that Ukraine’s brave soldiers have the ammunition, the air defense, the infantry fighting vehicles, the mine-clearing equipment and so much else to be able to effectively defend against Russia’s onslaught and to take territory back,” Sullivan said. “I think the American people do deserve a degree of gratitude — from us, from the United States, from our government — deserve gratitude for their willingness to step up, and from the rest of the world, as well.”

Speaking with NATO leaders in Lithuania on July 13th, Biden said the US is in this for the long haul. He believes in the mission in Ukraine but cautions that they are not yet ready to join NATO.

The ongoing conflict with Russia makes it incredibly difficult, if not impossible, to get them in under the NATO guidelines. He hopes that common sense prevails and allows them in soon.

By ordering thousands of troops to active duty, President Biden is signifying that this is more than just a simple transfer of equipment and funds to Ukraine. Instead, he is showing all the markers of preparing to put boots on the ground in Ukraine.

While hundreds- if not thousands, of former active duty and reserve troops have gone to Ukraine to fight voluntarily, that doesn’t mean those under government control should be sent there.

While the liberals are usually the ones up in arms trying to keep the nation from getting into a conflict, they are ready to stand by Biden and support his crazed quest for rolling into Ukraine.

They seem to believe in his message of needing to help the people of Ukraine as they attempt to fend off the Russians attempting to conquer disputed land inside Ukraine. All over allegations that Ukraine is rife with Nazis.

This entire conflict has been loaded with controversy and corruption. From misappropriated and missing funds to money laundering through donations, the Democrats have had their hand in this pie from day one.

Given Hunter Biden’s connections to natural gas companies (all due to Daddy) in the country, the reasoning behind the president’s dedication to supporting Ukraine so strongly became evident.

Our brave men and women who sign on the dotted line aren’t to be used for political purposes or to advance the financial interests of elected officials and their corporate donors.

Using them as political and financial pawns was never supposed to happen, and what did happen should have been stopped years ago. Instead, the Biden regime is bringing it back in full force. Call your elected officials today, and tell them to keep ‘em at home.
