Newsom Thinks DeSantis “Took the Bait”

Gavin Newsom and Ron DeSantis represent two opposite ends of the spectrum. Somewhere along the line, they have been led to believe that means that they must fight each other. It’s quite odd – and Newsom even decided it meant that they would need to debate one another.

It could be a debate of governors, one Democrat and one Republican.

That’s not the way that Newsom is interpreting it, though. Instead, it’s a Democratic governor versus a Republican presidential candidate.

Why would a GOP candidate need to debate someone he’s not going to go up against? Well, he doesn’t – but that’s not going to stop DeSantis from doing it anyway.

Newsom is now going around, claiming that he “took the bait.”

What bait might that be? Your guess is as good as mine.

It should provide good entertainment, at the very least.

Here’s the details:

November 30, in Georgia. The debate will also be moderated by none other than Sean Hannity.

You know what that means, right? Break out the popcorn. No one should miss this debate.

Newsom believes DeSantis has “a God complex,” though the same thing could be said about him.

The reality is that the two should get on a stage and debate each other. If anything, it would allow the American people to see how far the two differ on many topics, ranging from the way that COVID is handled all the way to issues like the economy, homelessness, and even healthcare is addressed.

Newsom might think that DeSantis “took the bait,” but so did he. And the reality is that Newsom could end up running for president…either in 2024 or 2028. Doing a debate now may be the best way for DeSantis to squash the liberal’s attempts to run before any announcements are actually made.
