Recently Dana White has made headlines for various things, especially his frustration with podcasters who don’t know about him, the UFC, or his accomplishments. He knows the value a sit down with him brings to any podcast, so he only wants to do them with well-prepared hosts. Lex Fridman’s podcast is a great example of people who know Dana White, and what he’s all about.
Talking about Dana’s value of loyalty, Fridman brought up a time he sat there as Dana got a call about Joe Rogan getting canceled sometime in 2022-2023. Their attempts to force him out were being picked up, and Dana wouldn’t stand for it.
“Anybody who is with me, who has been with me, knows when you’re with me, you’re with me. It’s a two-way street. It’s not it’s not a one-way street. I’m not one of these guys that’s gonna roll over. It’s like going through COVID … Some of these people have been with me for 20 years. We’re gonna lay them off? This motherf*cker will burn, burn before I would do that to my people. It’s just never – none of that type of stuff is ever going to happen while I’m here.”
White paused and then added, “I can’t say what’s going to happen when I leave. But when I’m here, the people who are with me and have been with me, they know exactly what’s up. And Joe knows what’s up and again, it’s a two-way street. Joe Rogan has been very loyal to me, and I’m very loyal to Joe Rogan.”
Loyalty like this used to be praised, and those who had it were commended. Over the last decade or so, that has turned into condemnation and trying to eliminate them from society. It’s good to see men like Dana White helping to bring this back, and pushing the woke mindset down another few rungs. It’s men like Dana who prevent America from becoming the communist, third-world hellhole the liberals are trying to turn it into.
