Everyone seems to be fed up with the ongoing border/immigration crisis. Billionaire and tech entrepreneur Elon Musk is one – and he’s planning to do something about it.
Musk, like most of us, has seen the increasing national problem of illegal immigration and how it is negatively affecting our communities and homes, and not just those right along the border.
However, unlike us, he has the means and connections to make some real and very big changes on that front.
He made this known on Wednesday when he replied to a video of House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, on behalf of Republicans, saying he won’t approve any more federal spending on the war in Ukraine and Russia until something is done about our own and very open borders.
Naturally, Musk agreed with McCarthy, stating that the border issue is very serious and needs immediate and long-lasting attention.
The (USA) border needs to be secured. This is not a partisan issue – even the elected Democrat Party leaders of New York are saying this is a severe crisis.

He then added that an “actual wall” does need to be part of the solution, as does “some shred of evidence to claim asylum to enter.” He pointed out that currently, all most individuals do is say just the right thing, which is “a hack you can literally Google.”
Musk noted that he might come up with more solutions, or at least problems that need immediate attention, when he visits the border himself in the near future.
We actually do need a wall and we need to require people to have some shred of evidence to claim asylum to enter, as everyone is doing that. It’s a hack that you can literally Google to know exactly what to say!
Will find out more when I visit Eagle Pass maybe as soon as…

Yep, he says he’s going to the border. And he’s going to be searching for problems and their solutions.
Now, to be clear, Musk doesn’t think a wall from coast to coast is needed, as some stretches of the border are pretty well impossible to cross due to terrain and the natural lay of the land.
“However, the convenient parts of the border need walls, and that’s not hard.”
Absolutely. Most of the (very long) border is super inconvenient, however the convenient parts of the border need walls and that’s not hard.

I don’t think anyone would be surprised if Musk started building a wall in certain areas soon. Neither would much of anyone but extreme leftists complain
