President Biden has been making the lives of illegal immigrants easier after they hop the border into the US. Now he and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) are fully committed to the idea of ensuring the illegals can come and go as they please. With the issuance of a federal photo identification, they will automatically be eligible for more programs and opportunities than ever before.
First leaked by Fox News’ Adam Shaw, the ID would have their name, DOB, and a QR code; much like they would get with a driver’s license or state-issued ID. The big difference here is that to get those documents, you need to prove who you are. Documentation must exist for you to exist in this country. Yet the illegals are ditching theirs on the other side of the border, thus allowing them to hide from their past, at least for a little while.
Last year Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) talked about the initial leak of the plan and defended the idea. “For provisionally released noncitizens, the digital modernization will provide ongoing access to important immigration documents through the secure card and connected portal.” As former ICE official John Fabbricatore expressed, this is just another step in making illegal immigration a more standard part of American life.
Lora Ries, director of the Heritage Foundation’s Border Security and Immigration Center, spoke with Breitbart News about how horrific this could turn out for Republicans in the future. “Congress needs to get a handle on the Biden administration turning ICE into another social services agency for illegal aliens and return it to a law enforcement agency that enforces the laws Congress made, including detaining and deporting Biden’s mass illegal alien population.”
As it stands right now, DHS and ICE are running through an average of 60,000 illegals per month coming across the border and going through their catch-and-release program. That’s not to mention the thousands more that walk through and go undetected. Many of the uncaught ones are coming in with drugs, weapons, laundered money, terroristic ideologies, and other people. The human trafficking numbers that have accompanied this surge in illegal immigration without documentation are incredible.
By getting these ID cards, retailers, convenience stores, employers, and companies may be forced to accept them as legal forms of identification for renting or buying property, opening accounts, and establishing residency. Being a resident of a town without being a resident of this country is a paradox in terms that should make even the most liberal of Democrats scratch their heads.
While nobody in Washington will admit it, the plan from the Biden administration to allow illegals to flood our borders and overtake our towns is slowly working. While the border states (especially Texas) are paying for this encroachment greatly, other cities and states are getting in on it too. Their virtue-signaling designation as “sanctuary cities” has made them a primary target to take these illegals.
Unfortunately for many of the smaller cities and towns, they are only learning about this change when the illegals are being dropped off in their towns. With no coordination or preplanning, rooms are not ready. Food is not even ordered, much less made. The total lack of coordination is making a total mess out of the entire nation. Meanwhile, the leftists are getting to spread the roots of their program to flood us with their voters.
Buying their votes one illegal at a time has been their plan for ages. Going with the concept of not beating them but joining them, the Biden administration is taking out every stop for the illegals to become full-fledged citizens. Expect an announcement of Biden trying to give illegals the right to vote in the 2024 elections (potentially Presidential) around the very end of 2023.
